Learn more about BJJ
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art and combat sport evolved from Judo. It primarily focuses on ground fighting techniques rule set, such as grappling and submission holds (known as newaza). Practitioners use grips, leverage, technique, and positioning to control or defeat an opponent by applying chokeholds or joint locks, often without striking or weapons. The goal is usually to bring the opponent to the ground and end the fight safely.
Today, BJJ training varies by gym and can include self-defense, sport competition under different rules, mixed martial arts (MMA), or recreational practice, depending on the focus of the school is practiced by people of all ages and skill levels.

Keisuke (May 2025)
Would you recommend our club to friends or family, and why?
BJJ may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I feel that this gym is the right place to start one's journey. There are no pressure or egos, and it’s a safe place to train if one intends to practice BJJ for a long period.
Johann (May 2025)
What do you think sets our club apart from other BJJ clubs or gyms?**
Safety is a top priority here, and the training is built around understanding core concepts rather than just memorizing individual techniques. That makes a huge difference.
